A history of philanthropy…
Lord Wandsworth College has an extraordinary history that began with the bequest of one generous and visionary man, Lord Wandsworth. Today, LWC continues to keep this vision at the heart of what we do. Maintaining the numbers of Foundationers is our guiding principle. Keeping the College facilities up to date is essential to provide the levels of teaching and learning we pride ourselves on, as well as to attract income from fee-paying pupils. Affording both is an increasingly challenging balancing act so, now more than ever, we need to increase philanthropic income.
In Autumn 2024, we published our first ever Impact Report. We wanted to highlight the impact of your support, in all its forms and shine a spotlight on the generosity and kindness that permeates our College. In particular, we wanted to feature the stores of our Foundation pupils, their families and of course our donors. Their stories are bold and brave and deeply moving, highlighting once again what an incredible school LWC is. To read more please click here:
