Art

The Art School offers formal and informal (open studio session) extra art activities throughout the school week. In these sessions we encourage and teach personal expression, imagination, sensitivity, conceptual thinking, powers of observation, analytical ability and practical skills. The Art school is open daily from 8.15am- 10.00pm for open studio sessions, personal development and organized workshops.

Some of the co-curricular art activities on offer are:

Batik – Silk Painting

Intaglio Printing – Dry-Point Print Making

Painted Animals – Resin Constructed Cows

Ceramics

Ceramics forms an important part of the Artist life of the Art school. Here we develop many sculptural forms and encourage the students to use and range of materials and design elements. The permanent sculpture trail around the LWC grounds can been seen as you walk around the campus.
