A simply sensational evening of music at Friday’s Autumn Term Concert, showcasing LWC’s Music department at its very best!
Guests were welcomed into the Gavin Hall by a group of fantastic saxophonists, who braved the icy temperatures to start the evening off with some festive jingles! With a line up bursting with an incredible array of talent, we heard stunning solos from pupils across the year groups. There were perfect performances from brass, string and flute ensembles who wowed us with some Handel and Christmas classics. Concert Band brought more festive spirit with a wonderful rendition of George Michael’s ‘Last Christmas’ and ‘Step into Christmas’ by Elton John. The Choir charmed us with their excerpt from Oliver! ahead of our performances at The Haymarket in January.
