The National Schools Kayaking Championships, Hawley Lake
On Sunday 20th November, 16 of our pupils represented LWC in this challenging race. With pupils coming from Exeter to Norwich, our teams were up against some fierce competition. Having only started training in September, they showed fantastic determination and resilience, resulting in winning the team event and a number of the individual events.
The LWC team was by far the largest team in the competition showing how the school is developing into one of the leading canoeing schools in the country. They have now been crowned the Novice Championship winners.
