Dance at LWC
The College is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with Kimberley Vowles and KV Academy of Dance for the provision of Dance lessons from September. KV Academy of Dance will work alongside Miss Molly Moffitt and the LWC Performing Arts Department to take our dance program to the next level.
Kimberley Vowles is a talented dancer, choreographer, teacher, and currently the principal of KVAD, who embarked on her dance journey from a young age, graduating from Performers College in 2006. After receiving three years of professional dance training as a scholarship student, she quickly immersed herself in the entertainment industry, touring extensively both in the UK and abroad in professional dance productions and shows.
After many years of teaching experience, Kimberley has built and leads a fantastic team of highly qualified teachers who share her dedication and passion for dance education. Together, they provide a supportive and nurturing environment for all students, ensuring that each child receives the highest quality of training and encouragement. KV Academy of Dance’s teaching philosophy centres on creating enjoyable, inspiring, and engaging classes for children, infusing each session with the teachers love for dance and theatre. Under Kimberley‘s instruction, KVAD offers a diverse range of classes, including RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern/Jazz, ISTD Tap, Acro, Street Dance, and Contemporary. The students enrolled in Dance will have the opportunity to work towards dance exams, event performances, informal showcases, and dance shows. Details of the new programme and information about how to enrol can be found via the link below.
