Our Head of English, Christopher Radmann, has written a literary thriller entitled HELD UP.

The novel, published today by Headline Review, was launched on Midsummer night at an event at the College attended by over 150 parents, students, teachers and guests, Christopher spoke about the writing of his novel, as well as paying tribute to his literary agent, Juliet Mushens and editor, Martin Fletcher of Headline Review.

Tim O'Kelly of One Tree Books, who has promoted the novel as “very gripping and emotionally draining”, provided the pre-publication copies, which were sold out by the end of the evening.

Chris, who will be featuring in the national and local press over the coming weeks said, "I have had great support and encouragement from my literary agent and editor who have helped bring the novel to life.  It is truly exciting to see it finally in print and I hope readers will enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed the writing"
