Foundation places

A small number of Foundation Awards are made each year to children who have lost the support of one or both parents and require a caring and supportive environment in which to thrive.

To qualify for a Foundation Award the child must have lost the support of one or both parents through death, divorce or separation.

The child must be a UK citizen and the parent must not be remarried or cohabiting.

Approximately 10% of current pupils are Foundationers.

Foundationers are not identified in any way within the College, are totally integrated and receive the same academic and pastoral care available to every other pupil. They may be day pupils, full or weekly boarders.
